Our online newsroom was one of the first in corporate America to be developed with a WordPress blog engine, which delivered built-in archiving, search functionality, SEO, RSS, easy video embeds, tags, reader stats and content management. Our innovative approach to web news captured national attention and was cited in two books, Digital Strategies for Powerful Corporate Communications (2009) and The Practice of Public Relations (2010), a university text book.
We were among the first to embrace YouTube and have a channel populated with 50 videos. We've generated approximately 1000 media articles, including several cover stories. We introduced the idea of front-page advertising to several industry trade magazines and have since owned the only cover advertisement in Illinois Real Estate Journal and Midwest Real Estate News.
