Tour of the Tribune Tower
July 1, 2008
Colonel Tribune, a good friend, was gracious enough to give me a personal tour of the Tribune Tower today while introducing me to a few key staffers and reporters. Below are a few photos from my tour. In the uppermost photo, you’ll notice a large conference room in the back/center behind a large glass wall. That is the war room where Tribune execs were strategizing the upcoming shift to a 50/50 ad-to-editorial ratio, which is part of a company-wide restructuring to become more profitable. The second photo is Colonel Tribune’s desk and the fuzzy bottom photo is the underground lair of Tribune Interactive. Thanks for the tour, Colonel! It was great to see you again.
