Power 150 Gets Extreme Feed Makeover

As most of you know, a few weeks back I launched the Power 150, a ranking of top marketing blogs in America. The list was widely discussed and appreciated by fellow marketing bloggers; however, it was only a static link library for people to bookmark and browse.
Starting today, the Power 150 is a living, breathing list and a much more resourceful tool. You can search and subscribe by keyword, browse the combined ‘River of News’ feed, or openly explore feed-to-feed. The “subscribe to your search” feature is ultra-slick in that you can grab the RSS URL for your custom search and instantly see when your keyword is mentioned by blogs in the Power 150.
The official ranking can now be found at either toddand.com/power150 or power150.com. Icon navigation has been added to the ranking header (as pictured above – click on the kitchen sink icon). If you prefer not to navigate the icons and just go straight to the living version, everything but the kitchen sink can be found directly at toddand.com/power150/kitchensink.

The life given to the Power 150 is all thanks to RSS expert Marjolein Hoekstra, author of CleverClogs, who contacted me two weeks ago to help add more functionality to the list. Via Skype and email (and between seven time zones), Marjolein and I mapped out the Power 150 remix with several valued contributions from Grazr Head Developer Mike Kowalchik and mySyndicaat CEO Giovanni Guardalben. For an inside perspective on the tech-side of the new Power 150 functionality, read Marjolein’s post at CleverClogs.
If you want to give your page the Grazr Power widget, just click here or on the Grazr icon at the bottom right hand corner of the kitchen sink.
My career in marketing and PR is very rewarding in that I help companies and individuals grow and connect. This Power 150 experience has been equally rewarding as oddles of bloggers have emailed me saying how thrilled they are to discover so many new marketing-related reads.
Again, special thanks to my new friend Marjolein at CleverClogs for making the kitchen sink (perhaps Power 2.0) a reality.
